Blue colored dyed maple wood block. Piece stabilized with acrylic resin which makes it very resistant so moisture as other external agents.

Maple wood, Acer rubrum, easy to work, showing great resistance to torsion and wear, semi-hard wood that It is widely used to make hand tools, among other utilities. 

Very good finish with dyes and varnishes, easy polishing.
